Who are we
At Adino Family Law Mediation Centre, we believe that family disputes require more than legal solutions — they require understanding, compassion, confidentiality and a practical path forward. Our centre provides a safe and neutral environment where families can address disputes constructively, communicate openly and work towards mutually acceptable agreements without unnecessarily going through lengthy and costly court proceedings.
Founded by Nkateko Maluleke, an experienced legal professional and accredited mediator, Adino Family Law Mediation Centre is built on extensive experience within the South African justice system and a deep understanding of family-related legal matters
Our Founder
I am Nkateko Maluleke, the founder and sole mediator with a legal background at Adino Family Law Mediation Centre.I am an accredited mediator of the KZN Society of Mediators. My in-depth expertise has grown over the 20 years of serving in the judicial courts as a District Court Magistrate, a District and Regional Court Prosecutor, and as a Maintenance Officer. This experience has given me a great understanding of the Judiciary system and family law.
My experience and interaction in the legal profession have endowed me with invaluable insight into the impact that conflict and disputes can have on individuals and families at a legal level. I worked as a prosecutor in cases involving failure to comply with maintenance orders, enquiries for new maintenance orders and substitution orders. Later, as a Magistrate, I handled many cases and personally witnessed how lengthy litigation processes can tear families apart, both emotionally and financially.
Adino Family Law Mediation Centre is founded upon a vision of being in a position to provide a more compassionate and cost-effective alternative to court-based proceedings. In this regard, through mediation, I try to help constructive dialogue take place so that there is mutual understanding and the family can reach a satisfactory agreement without necessarily having to go into protracted litigation.
